In the context of the Bernese Gallery Weekend of 18-19 January 2020, the new office exhibition Thomas Schütte at the Robert Walser Centre will be opened in the Robert Walser Centre.

Thomas Schütte (born November 16, 1954) is an internationally renowned contemporary German artist. The sculptor and designer lives and works in Düsseldorf.

In the offices of the Robert Walser-Zentrum, 14 watercolours and the three sculptures Walser's Wife (aluminium, 2011), Dritte Schwester (aluminium, 2013) and Frauenkopf (ceramic, glazed 2019) will be shown for half a year from 18 January 2020.
The watercolors are from the 2011/2012 series Watercolors for Robert Walser and Donald Young. Visitors can view the watercolors and sculptures in the individual offices during regular opening hours.
