Thursday: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Friday: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

In 2018, the Robert Walser Center will be closed on the following dates:

2 April (Good Friday)
5 April (Easter Monday)
1 May (Labor Day)
13 May (Ascension Day)
24 May (Whit Sunday)
1 August (national holiday)
24 December until 2 January 2022 (Annual Holiday)

The Robert Walser Archive

The documents and materials at the Robert Walser Archive can be viewed in a reading room equipped with temporary workstations. Those wishing to consult the Archive and use the workstations are required to submit an appointment request at least two weeks before the desired date (contact).

Due to internal development work, individual holdings are temporarily not open to the public.

Opening Hours:

The Robert Walser Archive is open by appointment Monday through Friday.

Guided Tours

The Robert Walser Center offers guided tours for groups of up to 25 people. Guided tours must be booked in advance (contact).

Guided tours cost 250 CHF and last approximately one hour. Weekend tours are priced according to agreement.
