This publication accompanies the Robert Frank exhibition shown at the Robert Walser Center in 2012/13, which was set up in collaboration with Peter Erismann and Gerhard Blättler as well as Martin Gasser of the Fotostiftung Schweiz. Robert Frank understands his selection, made in collaboration with the Robert Walser Center, as a tribute to Robert Walser, whose literary work has accompanied him for years. The majority of the photographs are unpublished.
