Reto Sorg is stepping down as director of the Robert Walser Centre.
After almost 20 years at the helm of the Robert Walser Centre in Bern, Reto Sorg is stepping down from his post. The 65-year-old literary scholar has had a decisive influence on the centre since 2007, including its relocation from Zurich to Bern in 2009. Under his leadership, Robert Walser’s work has become known worldwide and has been translated into over 40 languages. Sorg’s dedication has helped to keep Walser’s literary legacy alive and to strengthen its international appeal.
